Changing Light of the Borderlands
The global border story is unfolding in the Big Bend region of Texas, one of the most remote and iconic American landscapes. Through deep time, the Rio Grande has been a place of convergence, rather than separation. Only recently did the river become a border between people and lands. This project follows the Rio Grande as it winds through a remote stretch of far west Texas, through deep canyons in Big Bend National Park and villages straddling both sides of the Rio Grande.
